Founding of the company M. & W. Heller in Prague by the brothers Moritz and Wilhelm Heller.

End of 19th century

Relocation of the company headquarters to the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg.

1966

Acquisition of the foreign trade company M. & W. Heller by Peter Clasen, whose determination transformed the company into a trading firm specialising in the sisal trade.

Today

After initially limiting its business to trading sisal from Haiti and Brazil, over the years it has also been possible to significantly expand its good reputation and commitment in East Africa and Madagascar. This has resulted in M. & W Heller now having a very strong market position in Madagascar in particular.
